Requirements:

Drivers Age:

• Minimum 23 years at last birthday *(Drivers between the ages of 21 and 23 years may, at our discretion, rent a car for an additional charge of €10 per day)
• Maximum 75 years

• The driver/s must hold a valid driver’s license issued in the European Union.
• Drivers from outside of the European Union require an International Drivers License.
• All drivers must have held their drivers license for a minimum of 2 years.

• Full payment to be made when you collect the vehicle.
• We accept VISA, MasterCard and cash ONLY
• For airport bookings we require a deposit of €50 or €100 depending on the class of vehicle. This amount will be refunded when the vehicle is returned.
• All rentals are subject to a final audit

• Death and injury insurance for all third parties, including the passengers of the rental car, up to a maximum of €500 000
• Third party property damages up to a maximum €100 000
• Drivers Personal Accident Insurance (PAI), provides cover for death or injury of the driver of our car up to a maximum of €17 600
• Full fire and theft insurance for the rental car
• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) covers damage to the rental car, however if you are responsible for an accident or damage to the rental car the following maximum excess payments are applicable:
• €500 for A and B class vehicles
• €700 for C, D, E, G and S class vehicles
• €1000 for F class vehicles
You may avoid this excess by making a daily payment (FDW - Full Damage Waiver) of:
• €3 for A and B class vehicles
• €5 for C, D, E, G and S class vehicles
• €8 for F class vehicles
• The insurance does not cover theft or damage to any personal property which may be inside the rental car

• You are under the influence of drugs or alcohol or any other substance which may impair your consciousness or ability to react
• You failed to stop after an accident OR failed to do any of the following:
1. Notify Potos Carental S.A. immediately
2. Report the accident to the police
3. Take the names and addresses of any involved parties and witnesses
4. Never move the car unless told to do so by Potos Carental S.A.
• The vehicle is being used for any illegal purposes
• Driving whilst overloaded or with passengers in excess of the vehicles circulation license i.e. 4 seat belts = 4 passengers
• The car is being driven by someone not named on the rental agreement (contract)
• The vehicle is being used for races or any other competition
• The car is being driven on an unauthorized road, for example the beach or non-asphalt roads
• You are in breach of any Greek traffic laws

• underside, wheels, tyres (including repair of punctures), all glass and windows, antenna, trays, locks and keys, windscreen wipers, mirrors, interior panels of the car, upholstery, baby seats, child seats, audio appliances, damage caused to the engine from incorrect fuel type, flat batteries caused by negligence (e.g. leaving the lights on while car is unattended)

• It is the responsibility of the renter to thoroughly check the condition of the vehicle and to ensure that any existing damage is recorded on the Rental Agreement (contract) when taking delivery of the vehicle. Any damage found when the vehicle is returned which is not recorded on the Rental Agreement (contract) will become the responsibility of the renter.

• Unless otherwise agreed and recorded on the Rental Agreement, the vehicle is to be returned to the Potos Carental office from which it was rented. We charge an extra €30 for 'one way' rentals
• A charge of ¼ days rental for every 1 hour over the return time recorded on the Rental Agreement
• If the car is returned with the interior in a very dirty condition a charge of €10.00 will be made for cleaning

• All penalties and fines are the responsibility of the renter

• The minimum rental period is 1 day (24 hours)

• Our normal working hours are 08:00 until 22:00
• If a car, delivery or return, is required outside of our normal office hours a €15 charge will be made

• All cars use 95 Octane Unleaded Petrol
• The car must be returned with the same level of fuel as indicated on the Rental Agreement (contract)

• VAT is payable and included in the total rental cost

• Kilometers traveled will be determined from the vehicles odometer

• Only with our written permission

• Strictly forbidden

• Are provided free of charge

• The driver/s personal data will be stored on a computer, this information will not be used for any commercial purposes or shared with any commercial companies, but may be given to any County Authorities if there is a suspicion of a criminal or other offence

• All disputes will be settled by the Greek judicial system

1. Try to stay calm
2. Not acknowledge liability or guilt in any way, directly or indirectly
3. Report the accident to Potos Carental S.A. immediately
4. Report the accident to the police and make an accident report
5. Collect the names and addresses of any involved parties and any witnesses
6. Never move the vehicle unless Potos Carental S.A. tells you to do so
